Golf Tournament in memory of one of the company’s original founders. This event
helps sponsor a selected Charitable foundation involved in helping veterans and
their families. For 2023, the organization selected is Helping a Hero.
T&W Operations is proud to be supporting Helping a Hero, a 501(c) (3)
organization founded in 2006. The organization provides support for military
personnel severely injured in the war on terror. Their principal function is
providing specially adapted homes for qualifying service members through
partnerships made with builders, developers, communities, and veterans. Helping
A Hero strives to engage the community in providing services and resources for
our wounded heroes and their families. Additionally, Helping A Hero provides
additional support programs such as marriage programs, caregiver programs,
recreational activities, emotional, and financial support.
In July of 1996, Joyce McConnel was called out to a tragic scene of a young
six-year-old boy by the name of Junior who was severely beaten and evidently
passed away. His time on earth was cut short and taken from him. This story had
such a major impact that it catapulted the genesis of Junior’s House, Inc.
Children who have experienced domestic abuse can find refuge at Junior’s House
and start their road to recovery. Based in Fayetteville, Tennessee, this team is
committed to bringing the victim and the child investigative team together to
weaken the bonds of trauma and promote understanding of child abuse and
prevention.

interactive instruction that connects students to manufacturing jobs. This program
puts students on a fast track to earn their certification and claim their career path
in just a matter of weeks. Kids to Love is a 501(c)3 approved foundation that has
rescued and met the needs of over 250,000 foster children.
