Software Engineer II

Location: Huntsville, Al  

Status: Full Time  

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm 

   

Brief Job Description:  The Software Engineer II works as a software developer for T&W Operations applying principles of engineering to software development, produces new software programs and maintains and/or modifies existing software programs based on contract and customer requirements.   


Education, Experience and Qualifications:   

  • 4-years’ related experience and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Mathematics related field.  
  • 4-years’ experience with OOP languages C# or Java  
  • 3-years’ experience with relational databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLServer.     
  • Scripting language experience preferred JavaScript or Python.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be capable of passing a drug screening.      
  • Communicates using clear, concise, and accurate English, both verbal and written are required.  


Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Experience working on Agile team is a plus.      
  • Ensures data integrity within various software applications Complies with internal ISO 9001 document control requirements.      
  • Works with a team of software engineers to develop and maintain web-based logistics applications as well as standalone custom software leveraging ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, and CSS.      
  • Assists management in analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, designing software, and customizing software for client use.
  • Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project requirements, performance metrics and interfaces.     
  • Effectively communicates with management to relay the status of the project objectives on a regular basis. 
  • Employees may be required to travel for work related tasks: Performs other tasks as needed.

Software Developer II

RFID Subject Matter Expert I

Location: Huntsville, Al  

Status: Full Time  

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm    


Brief Job Description:  The RFID Subject Matter Expert I is responsible for implementation of all aspects of RFID Inventory Management at customer facilities, operates all RFID related equipment, trains personnel in RFID Hardware and Software Operations, and relays customers customization requirements to the corporate development teams.


Education, Experience and Qualifications:   

  • Must be a US citizen 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance. 
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of relevant experience in general supply operations to include warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory management and warehouse layout. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus. 
  • Must be knowledgeable in supply and logistics processes and systems. 
  • Must be capable of passing a drug screening.      
  • Software programming experience is a plus. 
  • Microsoft Office suite experience is required. 
  • Prior Military experience is a plus. 
  • Communicates using clear, concise, and accurate English, both verbal and written are required. 


Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Provides Best Practice recommendations for inventory management to customer.    
  • Provides RFID asset tagging and training in best practice tagging procedures. 
  • Provides customer database inputs and updates as required. 
  • Performs inventories and asset movement tracking per project scope.    
  • Assists with material asset traceability verification and inventory reconciliation.  
  • Provides troubleshooting of RFID hardware and software as required. 
  • Provides maintenance of RFID as required. 
  • Provides Project Status reports as required. 
  • Provides customer guidance regarding RFID equipment and software enhancements. 
  • Employees may be required to travel for work related tasks: Performs other tasks as needed.
